Welcome! My name is Chunho Park and I am a Fixed-term Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Michigan University, where I received my Ph.D. in May 2017. My primary research interest lies in comparative political economy and electoral politics, broadly speaking. I investigate how political actors interact under different economic conditions and political institutions, and then what political consequences these interactions produce in the context of electoral politics. In particular, my research focuses on economic inequality as the main factor which shapes the incentives of political actors and drives various political consequences. I am especially interested in substantive topics related to economic inequality and redistribution, political institutions, elections and electoral behavior, and ethnic politics.
